Overview
This project conducts a qualitative and quantitative assessment of the environmental policy and its economic and social impacts on Serbia in the short, medium and long term (2020, 2030 and 2050).
Contributions of EuroCARE
EuroCARE contributes to the establishment of an adequate database on GHG emissions in agriculture as well as for land use, land use change and forestry (LULUCF) according to the demands of UNFCCC.
Furthermore, these data are integrated in the CAPRI model to create a baseline or reference scenario for the agricultural sector. Based on this various scenarios considering environmental policy options of Serbia and of the EU are performed to identify the likely economic and environmental effects.
