Overview
DEMETRA addresses issues specific to developing countries and incorporates behavioral relationships that better reflect economic relationships in developing countries. As part of this project, the core structure of DEMETRA was implemented in CGEBox as a module that would work with the Social Accounting Matrices (SAMs) extracted from the GTAP database. A user guide describing the DEMETRA core module of the CGEBox for use by JRC staff and partners, as well as ad hoc support to build the necessary skills for the JRC staff to implement the developing country specific features of the DEMETRA model in the CGEBox Codebase were provided.
